Register for the Run for Fun!
***If you have multiple children that you would like to participate in Run for Fun, PLEASE MAKE A SEPARATE ORDER FOR EACH CHILD. Add one order to the cart, check out and pay, then return and do the same for the next runner.
If your runner is a Pre-K sibling, please add their name and PK, as well as the name/classroom of the sibling to deliver the t-shirt/number to.
The $25 entry fee entitles students to one of the fabulous Spring Fair t-shirts designed by our talented 7th Graders. The annual Run for Fun will be held Friday, May 9 from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. on the Cathedral Close. Run for Fun registrants should proceed to the Pulpit Green as soon as they are dismissed from school to receive their race number. All Lower School registrants MUST be accompanied by an adult!
Run for Fun registrants will have their t-shirts and race numbers distributed to their classroom the afternoon before the race.
Note: After School classes will take place despite the concurrent Run for Fun. All the Friday instructors have been informed that their classes will either be small or will have students joining late. Some instructors have agreed to adjust their projects for the day to accommodate the late comers. It is your choice whether to send your children late or to skip the class. If your child is enrolled in After School, please email afterschool@cathedralnyc.org if your child will be in the Run for Fun that day, letting them know if they will skip or join late.

The Cathedral School Parents Association seeks to build a strong sense of community in ways that actively support the school’s educational mission. Our motto – “Be Involved” – activates that strong sense of community among parents, students, faculty, and administrators. The PA's mission is three-fold: To facilitate open and constructive communication among parents, faculty, and administrators; To host community events that build social bonds and foster trust and dedication among school constituents; and To support the fundraising and other goals set each year by the Head of School and Board of Trustees. To that end, the PA sponsors educational and fundraising events and acts as a liaison between parents, faculty, and administration in order to foster open, constructive communication. The PA co-presidents also serve as members of The Cathedral School’s Board of Trustees.
